Health and Sanitation Procedures
According to waterborne illness experts, COVID-19 is unlikely to be spread in float tanks, swimming pools or spas
However, person to person interaction and surfaces that people come into contact with are a concern for spreading COVID-19
Pre-COVID-19, Salt7even Float Center was already a very low risk venue for spreading illness given our stringent cleaning procedures and single-person rooms. Now, we have implemented greater state-of-the art sanitation policies and procedures to ensure that we can continue to provide needed floats to our community during these times
We have now implemented a germicidal UV light wand to disinfect the tanks and rooms between every customer
We are continuing to always disinfect the tanks with a micron filter, and at least three full volumetric turnovers between every customer
We have ramped up our already thorough daily disinfection frequency of touch points such as door handles, buttons, and countertops
As always, we sanitize the rooms between every customer with an EPA approved disinfectant for killing COVID-19 (and viruses / bacteria in general)
We are requesting that customers pay ahead of time, online or over the phone to limit physical interaction
Our pre-float instructions will be emailed with booking confirmation and also available on our website to further limit face-to-face interactions
Customers are required to stay home if they feel any symptoms, and we are offering full refunds, even for last minute cancellations
Our employees are staying home if they feel any hint of symptoms
Anyone entering the center must have a face covering; one which covers both nose and mouth
Anyone in the center must maintain a distance of 6 feet from another
Customers are asked not to shake hands or engage in any unnecessary physical contact
It is an honor to be able to provide a place of healing, relaxation, and respite for the community, especially in uncertain and stressful times. We will stay open as long as we are able to do so responsibly – we are keeping abreast of findings, news, and advisories as they come in
